I looked at the menu before we went and I was a little... anxious about going. I figured id be able to find something to eat. The man at the door who greeted us was very nice, seated us right away, told us our server would be right over, and she was! Cat, our server, was nice, knowledgeable, and friendly. She answered our questions and we ordered. Fried olives (tremendous), shush fries (so good), chicken ceaser salad (huge and delicious), and blackened salmon salad (my sister says it was very good) Food. Was. Great!!! I would recommend this place to anyone.

The waiter was super nice. My mom loved the salt and pepper shakers and I loved them too. The music was nice I felt peaceful because it was not loud at all. *Review by my 10-year old daughter.

This is one of the few places we found that open late. We didn't know what to expect since the area looks more of a drinking spot than a restaurant but inside looks very clean and nice. I was very impress with their bar set up. The bartender was very accommodating to us and ensure us to take our time because we did came within the hour of closing. We ordered the Whats the Dill for an appetizer and I had the scallop risotto while my friend had the beef rib. Every dish I had did not disappoint. The portion was pretty good, the beef was TENDER, none of the seafood was fishy. If I ever come back to Little Rock, I'm stopping by this place again.

Brood & Barley is a cute and cozy little spot in the Argenta District. The drink menu was full of little hidden gems (like the sweet potato lemonade and the Siriusly Good Butterbeer was oh so cute it took me straight to Hogwarts!!) The food menu was super diverse and everything that came out of the kitchen looked and smelled amazing! I ordered the meatloaf which was everything you love about a home cooked meal and more. Highly recommend Brood & Barley for your next dinner out in Little Rock!!

Didn't know what to expect for food options as I stopped in Little Rock for work, but I'm glad I found this place! Started off with the duck wings, which were slightly fattier than typical chicken wings but really good. Got the pork chop which tasted great, although it was slightly inconsistent when it came to how it was cooked throughout. Ironically, I can't remember what cocktail I had, but I remember it being good...

Everything is absolutely the best!! Found this place about a year ago before a Shinedown concert and we've been back multiple times and enjoyed every meal and cocktail we have tried! All staff is friendly, informative, and fun! Love the decor and vibe of the place!!

Came as part of my 6,400 mile 30 city food tour research. Everything about this casual dining experience was a hit! The bartender was fantastic and knew the menu well when I grilled her on helping me narrowing down the other item I wanted to try. Because of the happy hour time of 3pm, it opened up ways to try multiple things for good value. Ended up getting the crawfish pierogis. Bottle the cream sauce as that was a hit. Also got the "super smash" burger and it was a fun take on the item. Cheesy and messy but somehow the extra smashed bread held up had added nice buttery flavor. The Asiago cheese had an Alfredo vibe on the fries which was excellent. Only minor dock was the fries tasted like basic frozen bag. No issue with that given the good value of the happy hour options!

5 star experience in N. Little Rock. We stopped in on our road trip to KY around 9pm on Saturday. The food and drinks were amazing. For me the steak was a touch salty and the grilled peaches part of the dessert wasn't my fav. But I would go back again and again for the steam punk decor, the seafood because they clearly know how to handle it, and the great service.

First time caller, longtime Arkansas visitor. Brood and Barley had a steady stream of eaters for a Wednesday night. That could have been the reason behind the slower-than-expected service (and one reason for 4 stars). We were seated right away around 6:30p and ordered drinks (two drafts and a mixed drink) and apps to start. Unfortunately, our apps arrived with dinner and it took several minutes for our drinks. Five stars for our excellent meal: wedge salad with popcorn crawfish and the umami burger. The duck wings were top notch. I even had an idea for a food truck: Just Skins. And guess what, it was based off these duck wing skins. (I'm not a purist when it comes to meat; for the most part I don't eat meat. But I break my code for wings. These wings were worth it.) It's also worth noting that the mussels needed more white wine burned off; that taste profile was quite heavy. My dining companions raved about the umami burger, from the perfect way it was cooked (medium) to the dusting of umami powder on the bun. The wedge salad was fantastically crisp with big chunks of bleu cheese, chopped pickled beets, and delicate ranch. Good beer list and excellent cocktails. Charming, rustic interior with fun bathroom decor. Which is all to say: Brood and Barley is worth the trip when you come to Little Rock!
